Prophetic News 2025 Beheadings - Great Tribulation in the Middle East 70 Christians found beheaded in church in DRC Christians in DRC have again been left reeling after a heinous act of violence that has left 70 believers dead. Please pray for our brothers and sisters in the country as they face escalating persecution. Seventy Christians have been found beheaded in a church in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), in what’s the latest devastating attack on believers in the north east of the country. According to field sources, at around 4am last Thursday (13 February) suspected militants from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) – a group with ties to so-called Islamic State (IS) – approached homes in Mayba in the territory of Lubero, saying: “Get out, get out and don’t make any noise.” Twenty Christian men and women came out and were captured. Shaken by this incident, people from the local community in Mayba later gathered to work out how to release those held captive. However, ADF militants surrounded the village and captured a further 50 believers. All 70 of those kidnapped were taken to a Protestant church in Kasanga where they were tragically killed. “We don’t know what to do or how to pray; we’ve had enough of massacres,” says an elder of the CECA20 church. “May God’s will alone be done.” There will be Earthquakes Massive Earthquake - Myanmar March 29, 2025 Myanmar’s ruling military said Saturday on state television that the confirmed death toll from a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake rose to 1,644, as more bodies were pulled from the rubble of the scores of buildings that collapsed when it struck near the country’s second-largest city. The new total represents a sharp rise compared to the 1,002 total announced just hours earlier, underscoring the difficulty of confirming casualties across a widespread region and the likelihood that the numbers will continue to grow following Friday’s quake. The number of injured increased to 3,408, while the number of missing rose to 139. Rescue efforts are underway, especially in the major stricken cities of Mandalay, the country’s second-largest city, and Naypyitaw, the capital. However, despite teams and equipment being flown in from other nations, they are hindered by the airports in those cities being damaged and apparently unfit for landing planes. Myanmar, also known as Burma, is in the throes of a prolonged civil war, which is already responsible for a humanitarian crisis. It moves around the country both difficult and dangerous, complicating relief efforts and raising fears that the death toll could still rise precipitously. Daniel 8 Iran Planning to Outwit or Outwait Trump, Not Relinquish Its Nuclear Program March 26, 2025 "Something's going to happen one way or the other. I hope that Iran — and I've written him a letter, saying, 'I hope you're going to negotiate.' Because if we have to go in militarily, it's going to be a terrible thing — for them." — US President Donald J. Trump, interview with Fox News, March 7, 2025. So long as the Islamic Republic of Iran indulges in its usual tactic of prevarication in the hope that, by engaging in delaying tactics, it can buy more time to achieve its nuclear ambitions, the credibility of the Trump administration taking direct action against Tehran needs to increase. Iran's demand, for example, that it might consider opening negotiations with Washington if the Trump administration first agreed to lift punitive economic sanctions, is a classic exercise in the regime's attempts to play for time. Iran's refusal to accept US President Donald Trump's demand that it completely dismantle its controversial nuclear program, which Western intelligence officials are convinced is ultimately designed to build nuclear weapons, raises the very real risk of the US launching direct military action to destroy the program. Trump's initial offer to negotiate an end to Iran's nuclear program was contained in a letter he wrote to the ayatollahs on March 7, in which he indicated he was willing to engage in talks concerning Iran's nuclear activities. But the letter also contained an explicit warning that any failure by Tehran to respond positively to his overture could lead to direct military action. The Trump administration's determination to end the threat posed by Iran's nuclear ambitions once and for all was confirmed by the recent revelation by the Axios news website which, quoting a US official and other sources, said the American president had set a "two-month deadline for reaching a new nuclear deal." Daniel 8 News: The statements described above follow similar statements recently issued by the Awliya Al-Haqq Brigades and other Iran-backed militias in Iraq, while American and Israeli attacks are taking place in Yemen and in Gaza, respectively, and the media is reporting on Israel's alleged intention to attack targets on Iraqi territory On March 24, 2025, the recently-established Iran-backed Iraqi militia called the Awliya Al-Haqq [Supporters of Truth] Brigades posted two messages on Telegram in which it threatened to attack the U.S. Embassy in Iraq and Israeli and American interests in the country and in the region, in the event of an American or Israeli attack on "the mujahideen" in Iraq, or if the Israeli attacks on Gaza continue. The militia stated that as far as it is concerned, "the American occupier" in Iraq constitutes a target, and it urged the public and the Iraqi security forces to distance themselves from it for their safety. Awliya Al-Haqq Brigades posted a statement on its Telegram channel in which it wrote that it is following "with great fury" the "aggression and barbaric massacres" perpetrated by Israel in the Gaza Strip "with the unlimited support of the criminal American machine," alongside the "assistance of the Great Satan the U.S., and its allies, to the gangs of [Syrian President] Al-Joulani" to eliminate the members of the Alawite sect in Syria, and alongside "the Zionist-American aggression against Yemen." The militia further stated, "The Zionist-American occupier is plotting to strike our people in Iraq. We warn the tyrannical occupier that if it makes any stupid move and attacks the mujahideen, we will respond harshly against all its interests, its bases, and its embassy [in Iraq]. Escalation will be met with escalation. Furthermore, if the Israeli enemy continues its criminal aggression against Gaza, the Zionist-American occupier will be a target of ours in Iraq and in the region, and we will enter direct confrontation with it, with no letup and no compromises." Later on the same day, the militia posted another statement in which it addressed the Iraqi people and declared: "The Great Satan – that is on your land, spills the blood of innocent people, murders children, imprisons women, banishes the defenseless, demolishes the Islamic peoples, which is the epitome of terrorism that considers only how to take over your lands, your religion, and your customs, and whose corruption and arrogance have no limits – distance yourselves from it, in every place it is to be found because it is a target of ours." The militia also addressed the Iraqi security forces and its political echelon and urged them not to protect this "Satan" for their own safety. "They will kill you thinking they are doing God Justice" Syria update: Christians among over 1,000 massacred amid worst atrocities since Assad's ousting March 10, 2025 Christians and other religious minorities in Syria are sounding the alarm as more than 1,000 people have been killed since last Thursday in what rights groups describe as some of the worst atrocities since the ouster of President Bashar al-Assad in December. The violence, centered in Syria's coastal regions, has primarily targeted Alawites, Christians and other minority communities, GB News reported, explaining that tensions escalated after an ambush on a security patrol near Latakia by gunmen loyal to Assad. This triggered a severe response from forces linked to Syria's Islamist-led interim government. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 745 of the dead were civilians, many of whom were killed in shootings. Hundreds of others were members of security forces or militants. Videos and reports from the region depict harrowing scenes of mass graves, bound bodies and devastated villages. In one instance, 69 Alawite civilians were reportedly executed during a security sweep. Thousands of Alawites and Christians have fled their homes, with hundreds seeking refuge at the Russian military base in Hmeimim in Latakia. The Christian community had already dwindled during Syria's decade-long civil war. Christians are seen by Islamist factions as politically and ideologically aligned with the former regime and as obstacles to the establishment of an Islamist-led government. While reports suggest Christians have also been targeted in the violence, it is unclear how many Christians have been killed. Time to Bring Down the Curtain on Iran's Terror Axis February 26, 2025 In the US, in the past -- many people may have forgotten -- Iran was found guilty of supporting the 9/11 attacks.... Recently, Iranian state agents have been trying to murder senior US officials who served in the Trump administration, various dissidents, and Donald Trump himself. Iran has an interest in having Democrats re-elected as soon as possible. Even while Iran fired on US forces in the region more than 160 times just since October 7, 2023, the Biden administration never stopped being inordinately generous to Iran and compliant with its nuclear weapons program. Iran has also been busy setting up a drone factory in Venezuela, as well as expanding its presence in Cuba. The mullahs might reasonably hope to wait until President Trump's term is over to break out their nuclear weapons and resume "exporting the Revolution." In Gaza, Israel has degraded Iran's Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist infrastructure. In Lebanon, Israel has severely decimated Hezbollah's capabilities and killed its leaders and commanders. In Syria, Hezbollah, along with Iranian forces, have been shown the door even though roughly 2,000 Hamas and 7,000 PIJ terrorists are still operating in Syria. At the same time, Iran retains proxies in Iraq and the Houthis in Yemen; the Shia terrorist "octopus," overall, has had several of its tentacles detached. Now, what about the rest of the octopus? The Iranian regime will most likely do anything to ensure its survival – presumably why it used proxies in the first place. It's better to have someone other than Iran take the blowback. The regime could start redirecting its terrorist efforts towards soft targets in the West, where it is easier to operate. For years, Iran has already been operating an assassination program abroad, in Europe, where it has been recruiting local gang members and drug dealers to murder Iranian dissidents, Israelis, and Jews. A report published in September 2024 found that the criminal groups hired by Iran increasingly target Israelis and Jews in Europe, including Israeli embassies and private Jewish individuals. READ MORE: Daniel 8 - Getting Closer Large-scale attack on Israel will ‘definitely’ take place February 20, 2025 IRGC Aerospace Force Commander General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh emphasized that Iran remains strong and has not been weakened. He assured the interviewer that Operation True Promise III, referring to large-scale missile attacks on Israel, will “definitely” take place at the right moment, as Iran does not want to “waste” the legitimate opportunity to carry it out. He explained that Operation True Promise II in October 2024 was limited to 200 missiles due to pressure from government officials, but the next operation will be on a much larger scale. Hajizadeh also stated that there are “enough American targets” around Iran, and these can be struck with cheap missiles, eliminating the need to launch ICBMs from Iran. Watch Video: 70 Christians beheaded in DRC church attack: 'Grim tapestry of violence' 'Over 6 million killed in 2 decades of war' February 20, 2025 Seventy Christians were discovered beheaded inside a Protestant church in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s North Kivu Province, according to reports, which say suspected Allied Democratic Forces terrorists had kidnaped the victims. The terrorists arrived in Mayba, a village in the territory of Lubero, at around 4 a.m. last Thursday and ordered residents to get out quietly, said Open Doors, adding that at least 20 Christian men and women had to leave their homes, leading to their capture. Later, concerned residents gathered to plan a rescue, but the armed group is said to have surrounded the village and managed to seize 50 more believers. The abducted residents were then taken to a Protestant church in Kasanga, where they were found beheaded, said the ministry This recent massacre, where 70 Christians lost their lives, is not an isolated incident but part of a grim tapestry of violence that has claimed over 6 million lives in the DRC over two decades of on-and-off war,” said ICC President Jeff King in a statement provided to The Christian Post. “The vast majority of the DRC’s residents are Christian, so this is a religious genocide carried out by radical Islamic terrorists (the ADF).” 'her church' in San Francisco promotes 'goddess' worship, features 'resident witch' Church aims to 'deconstruct Christianity and other patriarchal religions' February 06, 2025 A Lutheran church in San Francisco that was founded nearly 150 years ago now worships a “goddess” and has a “resident witch” on staff. Formerly known as Ebenezer Lutheran Church, “her church" is a congregation within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and part of the progressive denomination’s Sierra Pacific Synod. According to its website, the synod consists of approximately 180 “worshipping communities” across Northern California and Northern Nevada. Founded by Swedish immigrants in 1882, Ebenezer Lutheran changed its name to “herchurch” around 2007, when its membership was around 115 congregants, according The staff, which is led by “pastor and priestess of ritual” Stacy Boorn, includes over a half dozen “priestesses” and a “priestexx” Thom Longino, who is listed as “adjunct pastor” and “spiritual director.” A CP review of Longino’s LinkedIn profile also revealed that he is an employee of Catholic Charities San Francisco. A video of Longino discussing his work with homeless LGB-identified youth at San Francisco Night Ministry is featured on the YouTube page of Megan Rohrer, who made headlines in 2021 as the first openly trans-identified bishop to serve in a major denomination.to a cached version of the ELCA website. READ MORE: Earthquake: Taiwan 6.4 January 20 ![]() At least 27 people were injured when a magnitude 6.4 earthquake – the equivalent of two atomic bombs – struck the county of Chiayi in southwestern Taiwan soon after midnight on Tuesday. Kuo Kai-wen, a former director of the CWA’s seismology center, estimated that the energy released by the earthquake was equivalent to two atomic bombs. The quake jolted the neighboring cities of Tainan and Kaohsiung in the south, with tremors felt as far away as Taipei, where high-rise buildings swayed. No deaths have been reported, but dozens of homes and structures in Chiayi and Tainan were damaged, with some partially collapsed, according to the Taiwanese fire department. At least 27 people in Chiayi and Tainan suffered minor injuries, it said. The county government suspended work and classes in Chiayi’s Dipu township—the area closest to the epicenter. Roads were severely damaged, making travel impossible, and water and electricity supplies were also disrupted. Firefighters were sent out to assess the damage across affected districts, where reports included collapsed fences, burst water pipes, and power outages ![]() Fires in California decimate Los Angeles area, leave apocalyptic scenes: January 9, 2025 Fires across the Los Angeles area, including one that broke out in Hollywood Hills, scorched more than 45 square miles and put roughly 179,000 people under evacuation orders, according to officials. At least five people are dead. More than 1,300 structures have already burned and over 60,000 structures were threatened Thursday as strong winds fanned blazes in densely populated parts of Southern California, officials said. The two largest blazes – the Palisades and Eaton fires – weren't contained at all as of late Thursday morning, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire. Residents described sweeping devastation, harrowing escapes and losing their homes, while photos showed stunning scenes of destruction. The Palisades Fire in Los Angeles has grown to cover nearly 27 square miles and destroyed hundreds of structures, according to Cal Fire. The Eaton Fire, in the hills above Altadena in northern Los Angeles County, has killed five people, burned more than 16 square miles and destroyed almost 1,000 structures. The Sunset Fire, which erupted Wednesday in Hollywood Hills, prompted a new round of mandatory evacuations and threatened iconic landmarks. By 7:30 a.m. local time Thursday, all evacuation orders for the fire were lifted and the blaze had been fully contained, according to officials. The Hurst and Lidia fires scorched at least 855 acres and 348 acres, respectively. The Hurst Fire was 10% contained and the Lidia Fire was 40% contained as of Thursday morning. Powerful Earthquake: 7.1 Tibet Earthquake: Over 100 Dead, India expresses condolences January 8, 2025 A devastating 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck the mountainous Tibet region, killing over 100 people and injuring over 130 others. The epicenter near Tingri on the Chinese side of Mount Everest caused extensive damage to over 1,000 homes and left communities in turmoil. Tremors were felt as far as Nepal and northern India, prompting widespread panic. Rescue operations are underway, and over 1,500 firefighters and emergency workers have been dispatched to the region. Supplies such as tents, coats, and beds have been sent to aid survivors. The Dalai Lama expressed his grief, while President Xi Jinping called for urgent search and rescue efforts. Syria: Christians Facing Existential Terrorist Threat January 3, 2025 Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), Ahmed al-Sharaa, better known as Abu Muhammad al-Jolani, has openly stated that his goal is to establish sharia law: "Syria will be governed by the shari'a of Allah," he has pledged. He has already banned music from restaurants and cafés.... The group is largely supported by Turkey. Russia and the Russian Orthodox Church are the largest Orthodox entities, yet they still have not publicly addressed the situation of the Syrian Christians, or even attempted to send humanitarian aid. Sadly, most Christians, with a few impressive exceptions, do not seem to be supporting their Christian brethren in Syria, just as they basically do not seem to be supporting persecuted Christians in Nigeria, Somalia, Libya, Eritrea, Yemen, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sudan, Iran, Afghanistan, China or Egypt. Just days after the collapse of the Assad regime and the formation of a new interim government led by the HTS, alarming reports of anti-Christian violence and discrimination were already spreading across Syria. Two Greek Christians, Samaan Satme and Helena Khashouf, from the village al-Jamasliyye, were murdered in their home. Their relatives said Satme was beheaded and Khashouf was shot dead. Meanwhile, a Christian priest in Homs reported that a group of Muslims first ridiculed Christian farmers in a Christian village, then beat them for being "infidels." Video footage has also surfaced on social media of jihadists from HTS factions desecrating the Hagia Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in al-Suqaylabiyah. The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Hama was fired on, and nearby Christian graves desecrated. Masked men in al-Suqaylabiyah burned down a tall artificial Christmas tree in the main square, while, according to videos, stopping observers. Christians increasingly persecuted worldwide as 'modern and historical factors converge Christians see a rise in persecution in more countries than any other religion January 2, 2025 Reports for years have indicated that religious intolerance is on the rise around the globe in the face of increasing authoritarian rule and the continued spread of Islamic extremism, but a report released Thursday indicates that Christianity, above all others, is taking the biggest hit. "The world is seeing an increasing push toward oppressive control over religion, particularly Christianity, as a consequence of several modern and historical factors converging," Jeff King, president of the International Christian Concern (ICC), a non-profit based in Washington, D.C., told Fox News Digital. "Christians face oppression in more countries than any other faith group, with significant challenges in regions like the Middle East, Africa and Asia." A report titled "The Global Persecution Index 2025," released by the ICC on Thursday, outlined which nations have become the biggest offenders when it comes to religious oppression, particularly against Christian populations, and found the majority of religion-based persecution is carried out under authoritarian leaders and by Islamic extremist groups. The greatest concentration of "Red Zone" nations, countries with the most severe actions taken against Christians, including torture and death, were found in a strip of land in Africa known as the Sahel, which includes places like Mali, Niger and Chad. However, other significantly dangerous nations for the Christian faith were identified as the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and North Korea. A Presbyterian pastor, a Jewish cantor and a Baptist minister recently blessed the staff and objects at a Maryland abortion facility, burning incense as they walked through the white-walled clinic. The Rev. Katey Zeh, an ordained Baptist minister and graduate of Yale Divinity School, operates the multifaith organization called the Religious Community for Reproductive Choice, known for conducting blessings like the one held in Maryland. “Suddenly incense, ritual, prayer, and reverence all have merit.
