Why Study Bible Prophecy?

Why study Prophecy?  Many pastors say that it doesn't matter. And they say you shouldn't spend any time studying it. Why? Some of the stated reasons are "Study of bible prophecy is a waste of time" or "it's a distraction."

Another common criticism is "Bible prophecy so negative!" Negative? How is the return of Jesus to establish everlasting peace on earth with no more death, crying, sorrow, or pain (Revelation 21:4) negative? It's not. In fact, it's our blessed hope (Titus 2:13)! No. There's something else going on here, and I think I know what it is. The real reason so many church leaders ignore bible prophecy is because they care more about what the world thinks than what God thinks.

They associate the study of bible prophecy with date setters and "kooks." And they don't want others to think they're like that. It's much easier (and a lot less controversial) to cover topics like "7 Ways to a Better Marriage" or "5 Ways to Live a Better Life Today" or "How to be Happy All the Time."

Now, I'm not saying these topics don't matter. They definitely do. God wants us all to live a full and blessed life here on earth. But to ignore bible prophecy is to ignore anywhere from 25% to 33% of the Bible. If God didn't want us to study it, why would He reveal it? The Bible says all of God's Word is useful for teaching and instruction (2 Timothy 3:16-17), and that includes prophecy.

The Power of Prophecy
The prophetic passages in the Bible are just as important as all the others. And God promises wherever He sends His Word, it will prosper (Isaiah 55:11). This includes all of His Word, not just those verses self-appointed Christian leaders deem "okay." If you have any doubt about the importance of bible prophecy when it comes to living the Christian life, here's what the Bible itself says about God's prophetic Word:

1) Prophecy Points to Jesus - All prophecy points to Jesus (Revelation 19:10). In fact, Jesus Himself said He came to fulfill the law and the prophets (Matthew 5:17). What if the magi (Matthew 2:1-2) had ignored bible prophecy? What if they thought the study of prophecy was "a waste of time?" Then they would have missed out on one of the greatest honors of all time - seeing the baby Jesus. What if Simeon (Luke 2:25-35) had the attitude bible prophecy is irrelevant? Then he would have missed out on the greatest blessing of his life. What if Anna (Luke 2:36-40) had ignored bible prophecy? Then she too would have missed out on Jesus.

2) Jesus Demands We Watch – Still think study of bible prophecy is "a distraction" from God's work? Then how come Jesus demands it? That's right. Jesus doesn't simply suggest the study of prophecy. He commands us to study it. He commands us to "stay alert" and to "keep watch" (Mark 13:33,35). That begs the question – watch for what? The answer is clear. Watch for His return. Otherwise, He'll find us sleeping when He arrives without warning (Mark 13:36). If you don't study bible prophecy and the signs of His coming, how will you ever know what to watch for? And if you don't know what to watch for, how can you obey Jesus?

3) Prophecy Proves the Bible is God's Word – Long ago, God issued a challenge. He said, "Who else can tell the beginning from the end" (Isaiah 41:21-24)? God proclaims He alone can do so. Only God can reveal what is going to happen before it happens (Isaiah 46:10). The hundreds and hundreds of specific and detailed prophecies found in the Bible prove its divine authority. What other book on earth can match the Bible in predictive power? None. But if you fail to study bible prophecy, that fact will pass you by.

4) Prophecy is a Powerful Tool for Evangelism – In the first century, bible prophecy was the primary tool for spreading the Gospel. Peter cited the Messianic prophecies as clear proof Jesus was the long awaited Messiah (Acts 2:14-42). His speech led three thousand people to give their lives to Jesus. He also said the life of Jesus fulfilled what the prophets had written about the Messiah (Acts 3:18-24). Philip used a fulfilled prophecy to explain the Gospel to an Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-39). And Paul's primary method of spreading the Gospel was to reason from the scriptures (Acts 17:2-3). He explained how Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah. And he explained all that the prophets said about Him (Acts 13:27-31). If you don't study bible prophecy, you're missing one of the greatest tools for spreading the Gospel. What better way to respond to those who demand evidence Jesus is the Messiah than to tell them about fulfilled bible prophecy?

5) Prophecy Encourages Holy Living – If you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, you know He could return at any moment. And if you know He can return at any moment, it encourages holy living. In the story of the evil servant, Jesus warned us about a danger. What danger? The danger of thinking He'll delay His return. Jesus said the evil servant thinks, "My master won't be back for a while," and he goes on sinning (Matthew 24:48-49). Instead, you should live your life as if He could come at any moment. This mindset leads to patience (James 5:8), disciplined prayers (1 Peter 4:7), love (1 Peter 4:8), and an eagerness to use your gifts for the glory of God (1 Peter 4:10-11). While we wait for the return of Jesus, we should live peaceful, pure, and blameless lives (2 Peter 3:11-14).

6) Prophecy Gives Specific Blessings – Some Christians avoid reading the Book of Revelation. They might find it frightening or difficult to understand. But remember, it's the revelation of Jesus Christ (Revelation 1:1). It's not the revelation of John. It's not the creation of ancient men. It's a message from Jesus. It's so important, God says He'll bless anyone who reads it to the church! And He'll bless anyone who listens to it and obeys what it says (Revelation 1:3). In heaven, some will wear "a crown of righteousness." And who gets this crown? All who eagerly await the return of Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 4:8).

7) Prophecy Reveals the Season of the Lord's Return – Jesus says the world will be caught unaware when He suddenly returns (Luke 12:40). It will be like in the days of Noah and Lot. People will go on living their daily lives as normal right up until the moment of their destruction (Luke 17:30). But those who study bible prophecy won't be surprised by His return (1 Thessalonians 5:4-6). Why? Because they'll understand the signs. While we can't know the day or the hour of His return (Matthew 24:36), we can know the season of His return. Jesus, Moses, and the prophets told us what signs to look for. And Jesus says when see all those signs coming together you can know His return is very near (Matthew 24:33).

Don't ignore bible prophecy. Don't poke fun of it or laugh at it (1 Thessalonians 5:19-22). Prophecy is behind almost every promise Christians hold near and dear. The promise of heaven... The hope of salvation... The joy of eternity with Jesus.

Each is a promise from God guaranteeing our future. And what is prophecy if not a guarantee of future events? So don't let what others think discourage you from studying bible prophecy.

Remember, the world mocked and ridiculed Jesus. If you follow Him, He says you will be mocked and ridiculed as well (Matthew 10:22-25). Bible prophecy is the message of Jesus. And if you're a Christian, you must be willing to endure persecution for it. Jesus said if anyone is ashamed of Him and His message, He will be ashamed of that person when He returns (Luke 9:23-26). Don't be ashamed. Study bible prophecy. Let it enrich your life. For the whole purpose of prophecy is to glorify Jesus (Revelation 19:10).

The Second Death

‘‘Blessed and Holy is he that has part in the first resurrection, on such the Second Death has no power.’’(Revelation 20 :6)

It only stands to reason, that if the reward for a wicked man is ‘‘the second death’’, he must die, be raised again, and die again. But to those who overcome and stay faithful to God they shall not be hurt by the second death.’’(Revelation 2 :11) All who are victorious will inherit eternal life as God Declares ‘‘ I will be their God, and they will be My Children.’’(Revelation 21 :7). However, there is the ‘‘second death’’ group who will be hurt. They are caterorgized as follows :

‘‘But cowards who turn away from Me, and unbelievers, and the corrupt, and murderers, and sexually immoral, those who practice witchcraft, and idol worshippers, and all liars’’ will ‘‘have their doom in the lake that burns with fire and sulpher. This is the Second Death.’’(Revelation 21 :8) Whatever takes place in this lake of fire, brings about a death for those who are cast in it a ‘‘second time’’. This passage does not say, ‘‘This is the second chance’’, nor does it describe the lake of fire as the ‘‘second hell’’.

The cowards who spit vicious curses at God when the test of faith came, those who denyed Him in fear of losing their lives, the ones who were not brave enough to stay with the millions who shed their blood to remain faithful witnesses, those who ran and hid never to return back to the Almighty, now find themselves raised up in real fear as they hit the fiery lake. The coward dies after his Judgment is determined a second time. He died a coward, raised still a coward, dies one more time a coward.

The unbelievers who laughed at the idea of an Intelligent God who Created the World, who died scoffing are raised from the dead still scoffing. The ones believing that man evolved from a monkey, those who declared theirselves to be agnostics who were not smart enough to figure it out, and the fools who say ‘‘there is no God’’, are gathered together to be burned to death the second time around. It will surely be ‘‘hell’’ for them as they behold the One they denied. The unbeliever went down to the grave once an unbeliever, up from the grave believing a little to late.

Those who corrupted theirselves because of money, those who stold millions from the vunerable and trusting , those who died ripping the multitudes off with scams, identity thiefs, crooked politicians, and all who sold out their integrity to gain wealth by fraud, are raised up for their eternal sentencing. Now their money can’t save them from the snare of the second death. Instead of counting thier money, now they count their deaths-two.

The murderers which took the lives of the innocent and bystanders in the way, those who killed the unborn, those who in war executed hundreds of thousands without a cause, the serial killers, and the ones responsible for the genocide of millions, pop out of the ground to be hurt and rewarded with the most agonizing death. No eternal life for the murderer- just a death twice over in a fire that consumes to nothing. Those who killed the body of men, are now killed by the One who Destroys both body and soul- delivered as promised : a terrible death two times.

The sexually immoral, the perverts, the gays, swingers, those who particpated in making pornography, the enslaved millions addicted to its alluring slavery, the rapist, and all fornicators wake up to the sight of a Pure Holy God . The God of Justice brings down the Judgement - the fire of eternal death. They died a pervert, raised a pervert, destroyed in another death-no more pervert. As God cast the pleasure seekers into the fire, He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

The witches, those practicing white magic, black magic, tarot card readers, mediums, fortunetellers, palm readers, new age channelers, astrologers, satan worshippers, ghost chasers, spell casters, voodoo practitioners, and all others who trusted in esoteric rituals, will find their ‘‘reincarnation’’ was actually a resurrection- the second one. They will not deliver themselves from the power of the flame. No escaping the second death for them.

The idolater, those which spent their whole lives worshipping things, will find themselves raised up in a resurrection to see God as He really is. The big fat man images, the images of Mary-the mother of God, the images of venerated saints, images of Krishna, the Holy Cows, Statues of the Greek Gods, Sun worshippers, and all who made God out to be likened to anything made, now bow down to the Invisible God made visible, as He cast them into the fiery lake which brings them to another death. Do the math : one plus one equals two. That is how many times the Bible declares that the idolater will die.

Oh-one more on the list. The liar, the ones who mislead the multitudes to believe lies, the one who twisted the truth, the one who taught half truths, three quarter truths, fifteen sixteenth truths, the false teachers of evolution, those teaching false doctrines leading many from the faith of God, those who made lying a habit, who in the name of right lied while wrongdoing, who said

‘‘Death and hell will be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death.’’ (Revelation 20:14). Until the resurrection, death speaks loud and the dead remain silent.

Just think, all of the troublemakers are gone, no more obnoxious drunkard to shout obsenities, no more bully. In that Day the righteous are vindicated, ‘‘Behold all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced, they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish. You shall seek them and not find them. Those who contended with you, those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing’’ (Isaiah 41: 11-12). Oh what torment it will be to realize too late that eternal life had been forfeited and now- GoodBye.

More to chew on later...

Revelation: Mystery or Blessing?

The book of Revelation has always been such a fascination to me. From the very onset of my journey in the Scriptures, the beginning words of the Book spoke volumes to me: It is here we find the prophet John declaring:

Revelation 1:1-3:

“The Revelation of Yeshua Messiah, which God gave Him to show His servants--things which must shortly take place… and He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Yeshua the Messiah, to all things that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.”

Let’s take a moment to note a few important factors that hopefully will encourage us to see this book for what it really is:

Up front let’s note: The word “Revelation” comes from the Greek Root word (a pok al loop toe): to take off the cover… or a disclosure. The word: (apok al loop sis): literally means a revealing.

There is a prevailing set of attitudes about this particular prophetic book in the Christian sector that I find on the level of bizarre. For many, it has been a source of mystery and many do not even bother to read it because it was not meant for us to understand. Others propagate that most of Revelation is not for the church. As odd as that may sound, for a good majority of believers, they believe the church is not found or mentioned anywhere in between Revelation Chapter 4 - Chapter 18. Then the church reappears in Revelation 19. This common misconception is called the Pre -Trib Rapture. So: for them you might as well rip out 15 chapters of this book.

This is the deepest Revealing of a risen Savior - this is NOT the Revelation of John -but it’s all about Yeshua – Our Savior Commanded his disciples to “search the Scriptures for in them you have eternal life – they are they that testify of me”. So - That makes this Book of vital importance!

Just in the first segment of this fascinating disclosure of Yeshua we discover the one who holds in His Hand His Messengers, His Church, and a Sharp two edged sword:
HE IS: The faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth, who himself testifies: "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the first and the last, who is- and who was- and who is to come, the Almighty." The Son of Man – who declares: I AM HE who lives, and was dead, and is alive forever more.

It is HE that has the keys of Hades and of Death: The ONE who was dead and came back to life – the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass …He who is holy, He who is true, HE who has the key of David, HE who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens": the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God: Yeshua: the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star."

It is Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, and to Him will be glory and dominion forever and ever. Yes friends it is HE who is coming back with the clouds, and on a white cloud will set the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. It is HE who Promises: "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

-Yes brothers and sisters- every eye will see him-even they who pierced Him. And all the people of the earth will mourn because of Him. It is further revealed about Yeshua that one day: heaven will be opened, and on a white horse will be HIM called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He will judge and make war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns, He who has a name written that no one knew except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, will follow Him on white horses. Halleluyah!

BLESSED is he who READS and those who HEAR the words of this prophecy, and KEEP those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” This is the testimony of Yeshua which is the essence of the Spirit of Prophecy.

Yahweh’s intent for this Revelation prophecy: to SHOW his servants things which must shortly take place. No mystery here!

Matthew 16:27:

"For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works."

Are the Dead REALLY Dead?

If you already have your reward, why a resurrection?

Question: How was man created as a living soul?
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

Thus: breath & dust : living soul

When man dies,... Reverse Osmosis:

“Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it.” (Ecc 12:7)

Thus: dust - spirit : dead soul

“His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; In that very day his thoughts perish" (Psalm 146:4)

When the breath (spirit) leaves a man, he returns to the dust and the soul ceases.

Jesus' Example of the same event:

"And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, "Father, `into Your hands I commend My spirit.' '' And having said this, He breathed His last"(Luke 23:46)

The greek word for spirit here is"pneuma"...where we get the english word "pneumatic".
translated: breath , spirit, wind...

He gave up the breath of life and His Dead Soul laid in the grave three days. Peter quoting the prophecy concerning His Death (Jesus) proclaimed:

"he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades (the grave), nor did His flesh see corruption."(Acts 2:31)

Jesus gave up His Breath (Spirit) back to the Father, and His Dead Soul laid in the grave:

"have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it."(Acts 2:23-24).

Jesus died the death for us...He was really dead! Three days later after death, He was raised and then had plans to go see His Father. After He was raised from the dead He told Mary:

"Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, `I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'' (John 20:17)

When Jesus died, He did not immediately go to the Father, but His breath (Spirit) returned to Him, He became alive and made plans to go see His Father.

The Bible says ,"the soul that sins will die". The spirit doesn't go floating around after you die and have any awareness whatsoever.

The spirit departs, the body goes back to dust, in that day the thoughts perish. They just go down into silence:

"The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor any who go down into silence."(Psalm 115:17)

Then one day they wake up from the dust of the earth:

" And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life"....(Daniel 12:2)

I'm happy to know that my mother is not "up there" watching me suffer the things I do here....she is in her grave waiting for her reward (Matthew 16:27)

What need would there be for a Resurrection if the believers already have their reward?

Jesus will come back to give his reward:

"For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and THEN He will reward each according to his works."(Matthew 16:27) The dead will get their reward at His Return.

Jesus clearly stated about this time:

""Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, "and come forth those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."(John 5:28-29)

They are in their Graves waiting for one of two Resurrections. When He Comes they will Hear His Voice...and come out of the grave.

Paul saw death as a sleep: " After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep." (died) (1 Corinthians 15:6)

Again:"We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed"(1 Corinthians 15:51)

Paul knew when he would recieve his reward:

"Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing"(2 Timothy 4:7-8)

Daniel saw it this way:

"And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life"....(Daniel 12:2)

Jesus speaks of death as a sleep:

These things He said, and after that He said to them, "Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.' Then He clearly stated: However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep.
Then Jesus said to them plainly, "Lazarus is dead. (John 11:11-14)

Dead folk don't know nothing:

"For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished;" (Ecc 9:5-6)

The dead don't praise the Lord:
"The dead do not praise the Lord, Nor any who go down into silence."(Psalm 155:17)

Believers will be raised up at the last Day:
"This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day."(John 6:39)

"And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.'(6:40)

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day."(6:44)

"Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."(6:54)

Eternal life comes at the Last Day, at His Coming:

" For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord."(1 Thes 4: 16-17)

Peter proclaimed even King David is waiting:

"For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: `The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.''"Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day."(Acts 2:39-40, 29)  Isaiah 26:19-21;

" Your dead shall live; Together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; For your dew is like the dew of herbs, And the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter your chambers, And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past. For behold, the LORD comes out of His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; The earth will also disclose her blood, And will no more cover her slain." Job 14:12-15 :

So man lies down and does not rise. Till the heavens are no more, They will not awake Nor be roused from their sleep. "Oh, that You would hide me in the grave, That You would conceal me until Your wrath is past, That You would appoint me a set time, and remember me!

If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, Till my change comes. You shall call, and I will answer You;"

1 Corinthians 15:21-24:

"For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power." 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 :

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed--
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

Daniel Chapter 8 - An End Time Vision

"Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the end." (Daniel 8:17)

At the appointed time of the end- the prophecies will become obvious. I find it fascinating that Daniel saw Animals in his vision 2, 500 years ago and was told by the angel that the animals which he saw represent kingdoms. I find it even more incredible that in today’s world - certain countries are recognized with a symbol of an animal or fowl of the air. There is a Lion in Daniel, there is a Bear, and there is an eagle. Did Daniel actually see these animals and write them down so- at the right time, and we will recognize these very powers coming up and coming into power? I’m sure of it. The specifics are in there for a reason. Pay very close attention to them.

Now I want to take you to a specific vision spoken of by Daniel the prophet. It is my intent to follow the pattern of instruction the Yahovah gave to the Prophet Habbakuk. The prophet was commanded: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. “Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” I hope that you will run with this, when you see what I have to share on these tablets. Now: Let’s take a Close Look at Daniel’s Vision:

Jesus pointed to a specific event that I want to zero in on. What I discovered in my 25 years of study of this book, the FIRST MENTION of THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION is found in Daniel Chapter 8. The event begins With a War between Specific Entities. Let’s go to the vision:

Daniel declares: “In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a vision appeared to me to me, Daniel after the one that appeared to me the first time.” (Daniel 8:1) Daniel had received his first vision two years earlier(Daniel 7). This vision is an additional piece that fits in with his first vision. In other words - The two fit together.

Daniel is in the province of Elam when he is placed at a very exact location in his vision: “In the vision, I myself was beside the River Ulai” (Daniel 8:2); so- “x” marks the spot. There is no room for guessing where this conflict starts. As I researched this out, I found out the exact location: In a Biblical Encyclopedia, we discover where the exact place was located: (Ulai) is a river in Iran that rises in the Zagros Mountains, and passes west of Susha (ancient Susa), eventually falling in ancient times into the Tigris- just below its confluence with the Euphrates very near to the Iran-Iraq border. Let’s look at another map: There is no mistaking the location of the river where the conflict starts. The Kārun is Iran's most effluent, and the only navigable river. It is 450 miles long. The Karun continues toward the Persian Gulf, forking into two primary branches on its delta that joins the Shatt al-Arab emptying into the Persian Gulf. It is here where:

“A ram which had two horns was standing in front of the river” (Daniel 8:3) The focus on the Ram goes to the horns: “a ram which had two horns, and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher one came up last.”(Daniel 8:3) This is an indicator that one horn is first noted and comes up first, and another horn more significant comes into focus at some point in time.

Apparently at some point in time the Ram gets real aggressive: “I saw the ram butting westward, northward, and southward, and no other beasts could stand before him, nor was there anyone to rescue from his power; but he did as he pleased and magnified himself.”(Daniel 8:4) It appears that the Ram is so powerful in this regional conflict that - no one can stand up against it.

THEN THE PROPHET SEES another entity entering into the arena of conflict: Daniel prophesies: “Suddenly, a He-Goat CAME FROM THE WEST OVER THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH”(Daniel 8:5) Please note the specific location from where the goat is coming from. Pay attention to the specifics. Let’s look at this from the locations specified: the goat comes across the face of the whole earth from the west; again a specific geographical location.

And there is another specific detail: “and touched not the ground”(8:5) This infers that this goat is making war from the air. Of course, there were no jet fighters Daniel’s day. It doesn’t appear that there are many boots on the ground here. The prophet clearly sees this goat attack from the air. He’s coming from the west. Then the focus shifts to another specific:

“The goat had a NOTABLE HORN between his eyes.”(Daniel 8:5) Not only is the location from where this goat came from specified, but Daniel shifts his focus and puts a lot of emphasis on the Large or Notable horn on the Goat’s forehead. Then the prophet gives details the reason for the goat’s involvement against the Ram: “Then he came to the ram that had two horns which I had seen standing beside the river and RAN AT HIM WITH FURIOUS POWER”.(Daniel 8:6) It is apparent that something the ram does brings notice of the goat who is absolutely infuriated. Then Daniel sees the maddened goat confronting the Ram: “And I saw him confronting the ram; was moved with rage against him, attacked the ram, and broke his two horns.”(Daniel 8:7)

The prophet then adds: “There was no power in the ram to withstand him, but he cast him down to the ground and trampled him; and there was no one that could deliver the ram from his hand.”(Daniel 8:7) Apparently, the goat was much stronger than the Ram. Then - after the war is over, something significant happens:

“Then the male goat magnified himself exceedingly. But as soon as he was mighty, the large horn was broken; (Daniel 8:8); after this goat wins the war - and gains more respect, and while they are bragging on their victory, the Great Horn breaks! It is significant that Daniel continues to focus on this large horn. This large horn stood out among the rest. What was so special about this great horn? And what caused it to break? Then we find what happens after the prominent horn breaks: “the large horn was broken; and in its place there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.”(Daniel 8:8) The Large Horn becomes 4.

“toward the four winds of heaven.”(8:8) when that large horn breaks, it affects the whole world… Now before we go to Gabriel’s interpretation, let’s review the vision. I might add, there is much more to this vision, but for this presentation, we will take this part of it, and see if we can pinpoint a few things. Let’s break it down for a moment . We have discovered that :

The RAM HAS TWO HORNS – ONE is the beginning focus- afterward A LARGER NATION JOINS IN -

When the two are together they begin to push…

The RAM IS ATTACKED BY the GOAT –the GOAT IS FURIOUS as to what the ram is doing…

and finally- THE BREAKING OF THE GREAT NATION AFFECTS THE WORLD … Now, Let’s move into the interpretation: (Next week)

The Coming Prophetic Showdown: Israel, Iran and the West: A Study on Daniel

Friends, if you are looking for a clear cut sign as to where we are 2016 - as it relates to the last days before the Blessed Hope of Jesus Return, we only need to consider the prophetic declaration of our Savior Himself:

Jesus proclaimed: “This gospel will be preached as a witness unto all the nations - then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14)

Imagine the tremendous odds of this actually coming to pass. After all, this man was in his early 30’s- a Jewish carpenter and was only known and traveled within a small area. He made the stark declaration: Heaven and earth will pass away, but my word will not. He looked down at the end and proclaimed that the good news for humanity would reach every corner of the earth. And yes – through mass communication and technology, His Word is going around the world with rapidity. We have arrived- but wait - He adds one more prophecy and connects with this word (Matthew 24:15):

“Therefore” “THEREFORE when you see the ABOMINATION of desolation which was spoken of through DANIEL THE PROPHET and then adds:

“Standing in the holy place” and then places special emphasis on the statement, “(Whoever reads – Let Him understand)”...

This is the only prophet that Jesus singles out in his discourse - and admonishes his followers to read and understand this prophet’s Writings. This should compel us to go back and take a very serious look at what Daniel is prophesying about. I recognized more than a couple of decades ago:

The Book of Daniel is the Key to unlock understanding of the Final Events which will ultimately usher in the Coming of our Savior Yeshua (Jesus). Now - Let’s go over to the Book of Revelation for a moment- and tie in John’s vision of the gospel going out to the whole world - with an additional amount of information attached:

John adds: ““And I saw another angel flying in midst of heaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth and to every nation and tribe, tongue, and people saying with a loud voice": This prophet collaborates in vision what Jesus declared: the gospel would go out to the ends of the earth. Yes the good news goes out- but at the same time- a significant warning follows it: Let’s take a look:

“Fear Yahweh and give Glory to Him – For the Hour of Judgment Has Come”(Revelation 14:6)- then - the masses are implored to look up and “Worship Him who made the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters." This indeed - adds another dimension to the gospel. I am laying a foundation here: So- let’s consider this:

The Gospel is tied into the Judgment Hour and the End. Remember - Jesus ties the gospel with the end, and gives a specific detail from the prophet Daniel: this is an event that brings judgment down. How do we know this? Because it is tied into a great tribulation. Let’s put this together:

"Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), as the gospel goes out at the end, an abomination is being set up which brings on a very significant time of Judgment:

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake- those days will be shortened.”(Matthew 24: 21)

It is imperative that you know Jesus will intervene for His Chosen and deliverance will come. Now- Let’s go over to Daniel and compare what Daniel records about this: He prophesies:

“He will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.” The prophet Daniel sees this abomination at the Beautiful Holy Mountain (Daniel 11:45)

This mountain is known as Jerusalem- This is the Holy Place Jesus speaks of in his proclamation. Something significant happens there but his end will come. This will bring on that time of tribulation Jesus was speaking about: Here it is in Daniel’s Prophecy:

“At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince ...who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time.”(Daniel 12:1)

It’s inconceivable to recognize a time coming worse than that which befell the Jews in the days of the holocaust. But Daniel is saying that there would be no other time comparable to it. But please note: There is One who stands watch over you, not only that but:

“At that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book.”(Daniel 12:1)

There is incredible news on the backside of it all, there is going to be deliverance to those who are written in the Book. There is a Book in which every person will either have their name written in, or one in which your name will be absent from. It’s called the Lamb’s Book of Life. The Good news is: that an offer is available to everyone who - has expressed faith in our Lord Yeshua Jesus. Our hope lies in our being written His Book. And - At this time - when it appears that all hope is lost, there will be:

“Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament (Daniel 12:3)

The prophet proclaims that there will be wise- God fearing believers, who will be known by their wisdom- and in earth’s darkest hour, will shine with a light from God’s Prophetic Word- giving hope to the multitudes at the last hours of earth’s history. And they are:

“those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” (Daniel 12:3)

These wise teachers will deliver a message that will turn many scoffers and godless into believers. Yahovah is still stretching out his mighty Hand to save, and according to the prophet, there will be many that will turn- being convinced to switch allegiances with the Devil, and turn to Him who saves to the uttermost ends of the World. In all of this, there will be a message of great hope.

AS EARTH’S HISTORY CLOSES, THE LIGHT OF DANIEL’S PROPHECIES WILL ILLUMINATE THE SIGNS OF YESHUA’S (JESUS) RETURN: As the scroll unrolls and time gets closer to the Return of Jesus… this book united with the Book of Revelation - will bring floods of light to the final generation. As the events recorded in Daniel become clear, the signs which Jesus highlighted will become more obvious. At this time two books, with very little narrative, will be all of the proof that one needs that… in fact… the Bible is God’s Word. Yes- There will be no doubt that there is One who knows the end from the beginning. Now we need to consider:

The Importance of Reading The Signs Correctly - THE SIGNS OF DANIEL FORETELL OF EARTH’S FINAL CONFLICTS: Daniel’s prophecies have twist and turns that you must be careful to navigate through. As silly as some of the signs may appear – Visions of beast and horns and odd animals, It’s like this sign - on the surface- it can be very hard to find your way around. It takes dependence on Yahweh’s Spirit to get through this prophetic maze and find your way.

After receiving the deep revelation of these prophetic visions, Daniel was commanded to close up the words, and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Please note here: The emphasis is on the sealed words - and sealed book. Daniel is commanded:

At the time of the end: “many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall increase.”(Daniel 12:4)

Please note:

This KNOWLEDGE – is NOT concerning the increase in knowledge from the horse and buggy to the Space Shuttle knowledge. No one can ignore the absolute explosion of increased knowledge in technological advances from OHMs law and electricity - to putting a man walking on the moon. We all recognize that the computer age has brought an avalanche of increased information and technology into every facet of our lives. I find it interesting that almost all Bible teachers have interpreted this prophetic statement- to the rapidity and advances of knowledge in invention . However:

Contextually, in this verse, knowledge is clearly connected to shutting up - and sealing the words until the end. Daniel was clearly commanded:

Daniel - you are not going to understand this: At the end - revelation will come. Think about this for a moment:

If something is locked up until a certain time, you just can’t get into it. You can stand on the outside looking in, and see from a distance, but will have to wait until the time for the key to arrive, before you can take a closer look. What this also reveals to us is - that until this time comes, the things that we thought may have been the whole truth of the matter, we will discover increasing light and knowledge concerning these prophecies.

Advancing Light which will change our views concerning the traditional beliefs that we have held onto for ages. And - As we will discover, the very players, events, and specifics identified in Daniel - will become clear to those who are paying attention and searching the scriptures diligently. At the end – the scroll unrolls to prepare the bride for the wedding.

At the appointed time Great Light Will Come as The Book of Daniel Is Unsealed. Yahweh will make sure that those who read- will understand. Not only that, but He has handpicked servants to understand. The prophet Amos records, “Surely the Yahovah does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets”.(Amos 3:7)

You can count on nothing coming on the earth that God is doing - without a warning. Consequently, according to Daniel:

“And those of the people who understand shall instruct many”(Daniel 11:33) add to this revelation- in another one of Daniel’s writings: “None of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.”(Daniel 12:10)

The Scriptures proclaims that there will be people chosen to understand so that they can teach others. We will not be left in the dark. We have God’s Promise:

“Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare - before they spring forth I will tell you of them.”(Isaiah 42:9)

Before something happens, you can count on Yahweh telling you about it. There are those who are obedient to our Savior’s command to watch. You can count on those who know what the prophecies say telling others before they come. Now consider this:

Now I want to take you to a specific vision spoken of by Daniel the prophet. It is my intent to follow the pattern of instruction the Yahovah gave to the Prophet Habbakuk. The prophet was commanded: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. “Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”(Habakkuk 2:1-3)

More to come...

Jerusalem: Earth’s Final Days

Let me start by giving you a couple of facts concerning this very important place in prophecy. Jerusalem is at the front and center in the Bible:

It is mentioned 806 times - 660 times in the O.T- and 146 references are found in the N.T. In addition - Zion is mentioned 108 times and is synonymous with this City. According to one prophet, this place is located at the center of the nations - some call it the navel of the world. Needless to say – Jerusalem is a most important location.

There is some debate as to the original meaning of the Hebrew Yerushalaim, but it is most commonly referred to as the City of peace. However - Quite the contrary, history attests to the fact that this City has constantly been a center of conflict and controversy for thousands of years. During its long history, Jerusalem has been destroyed twice, besieged 23 times, attacked 52 times, captured and recaptured 44 times. And - As we will discover, here in the near future, the eyes of the world will be brought back to this arena - at the time just before Jesus Returns.

Let’s begin this with a prophecy that verifies this from the Prophet Zechariah:

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.” (Zechariah 12:2)

This prophetic scenario places Jerusalem as a place of contention for all the countries that surround it. Evidently, something is going down in this place that will not only bring attention from the local countries, but the prophecy then adds:

“It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured and all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.” (Zechariah 12:3)

In this day - All of the nations of the earth will be gathered against it. Never has there been a time in the records of history, where Jerusalem has gathered the attention of the entire world against it. There are many prophecies found in the Bible that verifies this very event. I wander - Just what could happen over there that would bring so much attention and adversity against it?

This same prophet adds to this troubling scenario:

“Behold, a day is coming for the Lord when the spoil taken from you will be divided among you. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle” (Zechariah 14:1-2)

Hundreds of years later, Yeshua Jesus also prophesied that this would happen… let’s take a look at what he prophesied:

On several occasions, Jesus ties Jerusalem into the limelight of prophetic action revolving around end time circumstances. “Therefore - when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. (Matthew 24:15),

Any of those listening to Jesus’s prophetic declaration would have known where the Holy Place was. Oh by the way - It wasn’t Rome, Mecca, or Medina in that day - and it isn’t now.

Again in another prophecy given by Jesus, he singles out this event and gives a clue that war is imminent: “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her.”(Luke 21:20-21) Now notice the time in which this significant event is placed in:

Jerusalem - who are surrounded by armies- this will happen at the Day of Vengeance when all things will be fulfilled. This event will usher in The Battle of Armageddon and the remaining last day prophecies fulfilling the events just before Jesus returns. Obviously, this hasn’t happened yet, so this prophecy is contained within the framework of those prophecies having not yet happened. Many believe this prophecy was fulfilled at the year 70 AD when the Roman armies surrounded Jerusalem and destroyed it. But guess what, Jerusalem is rebuilt, it is back in the daily news again, and as you will discover, something much larger is looming on the horizon.

“For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people.”(Luke 21:23)

In the context of this prophecy, Jesus clearly is speaking of those who are living in Jerusalem. Someday - In this Holy City, they will experience a great trouble and distress coming down on its inhabitants. This is not a pretty picture here: Let’s look:

“They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”(Luke 21:24) According to Jesus, Jerusalem will be trampled on by non- Jewish invaders, and not only did He predict the attack on Jerusalem, but issued a set time of trouble allotted towards this City. Jesus referred to this as: the time of the Gentiles. There is a prophecy in the book of Revelation that foretells of this very event. This prophecy clearly reveals a specific time in which the Gentiles will trample down the Holy City,

Let’s look:

It is here we discover the time of the Gentiles. In this context; Enraptured in vision, John was told to measure the temple - the concept of measurement alludes to Judgment, and contextually this relates to the Holy place, and those regarded as worshippers there. John is given instruction to leave the measuring alone outside this Holy place, Please remember - Everyone living in that day would have known this place as Jerusalem and more so - the Temple Mount, and someday -this place will be given into the hands of the Gentiles for a determined point of time. Let’s read it:

“Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.” (Revelation 11:1)

“But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles, and they will tread the Holy City underfoot for forty-two months.” (Revelation 11:2)

Putting this together, we learn that non - Jewish invaders will be trampling on Jerusalem for a period of 3 ½ years. In the Book of Daniel and Revelation, this is a very significant time – and this is yet in the future. It is here at this time, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will bring the whole world’s attention back to this small little place. Why here you ask?

I'll pick up on this later. This is enough for you to chew on for the moment!

The Pre - Trib Rapture: Fact or Fallacy?

Let's start with this question: What is Great Tribulation?

Graphic Images of Christian Persecution Under Islam: (Warning)

This page contains graphic images that tell of Christian persecution under Islam — images that rarely if ever appear on mainstream media. It is meant to supplement the pictures that appear in Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians. While graphic in nature, we feel it is necessary to show these pictures to give a better understanding of the true sufferings of Christians under Islam.

Are these Christians going through Great Tribulation?

What did Jesus mean when He said:

"Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it." (Luke 17:31-33) ? This implies God's Will doesn't it?

I could go on for hours about the genocide of many believers all over the world. I would venture to say, they gave up their lives because they viewed faith in Christ as the ultimate sacrifice. They get up prepared to die for the cause. Tell the 200,00Coptic Christians in Egypt who have fled recently from massive tribulation -women raped and murdered, mutilation, killings of every kind - some ran over by tanks, and now without their homes - refugees. Tell them about deliverance from
the great tribulation.

We must be prepared to do the same. The "secret rapture" is setting up multitudes for the"great falling away" which will happen before Christ' Return. How dare we think of ourselves as those who will escape the privlidge of giving up our lives to  bring many to the cross of sacrifice for the common good of all people. Are we any better than the millions that have lost their lives for Jesus' Sake?

I'm sorry, name it what it is: this doctrine is an insult to the millions who have died and shed their blood for Jesus in the past, and millions who are dying around the world for Jesus now. How are they being delivered from tribulation?

I am convinced that this study will clearly articulate what believers should expect here in our future. If you have ears to hear, it will come across loud and clear concerning this coming battle between Yahweh's Servants and the hateful world.

Will The Saints Escape Out of Great Tribulation?

Many expositors and theologians propagate that the believers in Yeshua (Jesus) will be taken off of the earth before the great tribulation comes on the world scene. Some say seven years before - some say three and a half years. In addition, the Holy Spirit is removed from the earth as the wicked are “left behind” - after Jesus comes and takes His Saints away.

What does the Bible have to say about this? Will the believers be taken from the Earth to escape tribulation? This set of Scriptures along with very little commentary, should be studied with diligence. We must see the truth here.

It will be “he that endures until the end- the same shall be saved”(Matthew 24:13,) If you think that Yeshua will come and take you away before the tribulation hits, you will be like one of the foolish virgins who did not have enough oil in their lamps to make it through this time (Matthew 25:1-10). It is imperative that we prepare to "stand in the evil day, having done all to stand".(Ephesians 6:13)
May this study stir you up to make a preparation for this time to come. If you do not believe you will be here, you will not have the endurance to make it through and stand before the Son of Man. You will be part of that mass exodus from Christianity that’s coming when the fire comes to purify His people who have faith in Him!

Who Are These Believers? :

“And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of GREAT TRIBULATION, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." (Rev 7:14)

Right away, the question comes to my mind, "Who are these that came out of great tribulation if the believers will not be here during that time? This mandates a sound, rational response from the Pre -Tribulation advocates.

Will the Saints be taken away from the world before the Wrath of Yahweh falls, or will Yahweh Protect them through it? Let’s first ask ourselves: What is contained in God's Wrath, and when will it be poured out?

Here is what the Bible says: "Out of the temple came seven angels with the seven plagues...then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls filled with the WRATH OF YAHWEH...then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels: "Go - pour out the seven bowls of God's Wrath on the earth"(Rev 15:6-7,16:1)

It is clear that God's Wrath is poured out during the seven last plagues - just before the deliverance of the believers. We will discover that the Scriptures are very clear - that this happens at a specific place in time: at the end.

Just before Israel left Egypt, Yahweh poured out plagues on their land. As the  destroying angel came through the land, the ones who had Lamb's Blood over their doorpost were delivered from bondage and made their way to the Promised Land. The very same events will take place at the time of deliverance as the believers are ushered into the Kingdom and Promised Land.

In the deliverance of the plagues of Egypt, Yahweh's people were right in the middle of them. It was a shadow (type) that will happen at the end (7 last plagues) of the deliverance. God did not remove them away from His Wrath, He protected them in the middle of them! The plagues fell...He just protected His people from it touching them Apparently, it will happen again. King David had a picture of this and when he wrote:

"Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday,  at thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked."

"Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."(Psalm 91:5-11).

Obviously, the righteous will see it fall all around them, but won't be touched by the terror. For those who teach that believers will be taken away before the tribulation, they need to seriously reexamine their Bible evidence for their support.

So - What Bible verses do the Pre -Tribulation teachers use to prove that the saints will be gone 3 1/2 years or 7 years before the great trouble starts?

Here is their main passage:

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Please Note:

Those who use the word "Rapture" get this from the phrase: "caught up". This word comes from the original word: "harpazo". The original wording has a variety of applications: "to seize", "catch away-up"; pluck, pull, take (by force).

Please note the word "Rapture" is a word that has just been put into use to this scenario in the last two hundred years. You will not find the word" Rapture" anywhere in the Bible. This word was made popular by Darby and Scolfield a little over a century ago. As we will discover, this "caught up" (rapture) event is tied into a specific time.

Let's take a look at this main passage and put the facts together:

Fact # 1: This event will not be "secret":

Yashua will descend from heaven with a SHOUT, Michael's VOICE, and Yahweh's TRUMPET blast. It will be very AUDIBLE. (4:16)

Fact # 2: The Dead are resurrected just before the "rapture"(caught up):

"we who are still alive...will not precede (go before) those who have fallen asleep"(4:15)

Fact # 3:  Right after the Resurrection, Those alive are "raptured" to meet  "The Dead in Christ rise first, then we which are alive and remain will be "caught up together" to meet the Lord in the air (4:16)

Fact # 4: The Resurrection and "Rapture" happen together

We can conclude that - if we can determine WHEN the resurrection takes place, we will also know the timing of when the "rapture" or "caught up" happens.

Here's one clue:

"but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be FINISHED, as He declared to His servants the prophets.(Rev 10:7)

We clearly see that when the seventh Trumpet blows:

"Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!'' (Revelation 11:15)

In the same event:

"The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.'' (Rev 11:18)

Fact: The blowing of the Seventh Trumpet brings reward to the dead, at the same time God's WRATH comes. The WRATH OF GOD is going on at the time of the blowing of the Seventh Trumpet. While the dead are rewarded, those who wait and are alive at Jesus' Coming receive their reward also.

"Immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION ...at that time...they will SEE the Son of Man coming in the clouds with power and great glory. And He shall send His Angels with a great TRUMPET BLAST, and they will GATHER HIS ELECT from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:29-31)

It is hard to bypass this clear cut statement as to when the Arrival of Jesus takes place. After the tribulation period, that great Trumpet will sound, the dead and living will be gathered together from all over the planet, and they will forevermore be with the Lord. Nothing secret here...Again it is the most visible, audible, Earth shaking event ever to take place on planet Earth. John speaks of this very event and collaborates:

"Behold, He is Coming with the clouds, and EVERY EYE will see Him" (Rev 1:7)

Remember, if we can determine when the resurrection is, we will then know when the "rapture" takes place.

When is the resurrection?

 (1 Corinthians 15:22-24):

"In Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ's AT HIS COMING. Then comes the END"

Fact : Those who are resurrected from the dead will be raised at Christ' Coming  (at the END).

"THEN comes the END, WHEN He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power."(1 Corinthians 15:24)

Please Note: It is at  the END - not 7 years or 3 1/2 years before the end...when the dead are raised up to eternal life.

It is a common misconception that the believers leave the earth 7 years before the end... some say 3 1/2 years...however, the dead are raise at the end...at the same time the ones who are alive and remain will be "caught up" with the dead (same timing).

When does Jesus say the resurrection will occur?

Here it is:

"This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the LAST DAY. "And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the LAST DAY.'' (John 6:39-40)

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the LAST DAY. "Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the LAST DAY".(John 6:44; 54)

According to this testimony:

The believers will get their resurrection on the LAST DAY. At that time, the ones who are alive who believe in Jesus will be "raptured" with the dead who come alive. This doesn't happen 3 1/2 years or 7 years before the end.

 Another evidence to "WHEN":

The dead in Christ are raised at the LAST TRUMPET:

"Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMPET. For the TRUMPET will sound, and the DEAD WILL BE RAISED incorruptible, and we shall be changed." (1 Corinthians 15: 51-54)

Fact: The apostle Paul proclaims that those who are not sleeping at the time of Christ return will hear the LAST trumpet and be changed with the raised dead when all will be changed.

The Testimony of the Prophets

        (Wicked’s End)

‘‘Silver and gold will be of no use to you on the day of the Lord’s anger. For the whole land will be devoured by the fire of His jealousy. He will make a terrifying end of all the people of the earth”. (Zephaniah 1: 18). The word ‘‘devoured’’ is defined as: consumed, eaten up, to destroy or waste. W hen the Day of God’s Anger arrives; the fire will conclude the lives of everyone on the Earth. The whole land will be left in desolation. No hint of a fiery, screaming underworld in this proclamation, just a ‘‘terrifying end’’.

‘My determination is to gather the nations, to My assembly of kingdoms, to pour on them My fierce anger, all the Earth shall be devoured with the fire of My Jealousy’’. (Zep 3: 8) This Prophet declared that the fire will take place on the Earth, in which everything is devoured. There is no intimation of a pit, in the center of the Earth, where souls are being tortured.

       The Prophet Zephaniah

‘‘For the wicked will be destroyed...in a little while, the wicked will disappear, though you look for them, they will be gone... But the wicked shall perish... into smoke they will vanish away”. (Psalm 37: 10, 20).  Israel’s King received some insight from God, concerning the finish of wicked people. Again, the vocabulary connected to evildoers found in these passages, are indicative that the wicked will be no more- destroyed, perished, vanished away. Evil will experience its end.

‘‘I have seen the wicked in great power... yet he passed away and behold- he is no more. Indeed, I sought him, but he could not be found’’. ‘‘The transgressors shall be destroyed together; the future of the wicked cut off.” (Psalm 37: 36, 38) If there is no future for evil to stay, then surely evil will not squirm throughout eternity. Accordind to the prophet, ‘‘When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it’’ (Psalm 37:34). We are told that in that Day, God will utter His Voice and the earth will melt. (Psalm 46:6)

‘‘Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because He was Wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of His Mouth devoured: Coals were kindled by it.   He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and thick darkness was under his feet” (Psalm   18:7-8) How can anyone imagine living through the devouring fire of God’s Mouth?

‘‘Thy hand will find out all thine enemies; Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee.  Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in His Wrath, and the fire shall devour them”.(Psalm   21:8-9) This is a vivid picture of God’s Anger swallowing up and devouring those that hate Him. There’s not much left when a person swallows up and devours a good T-bone steak! Nothing left of the wicked after God ingests them either.

‘‘For the transgressors shall be destroyed together, the future of the wicked will be cut off’’. (Psalm 37:28) According to this verse, the wicked will not live eternally; there future will come to a final closure. When a head is “cut off” from a body, there is no more life, no more future for it. There is no future in eternity for anything that is “cut off” from its life source. For the cut-off, there will be no future-period.

Our God comes, and will not keep silence: A fire devoured before him, and it is very tempestuous round about him. He called to the heavens above, And to the earth, that He may judge His people: Gather My saints together unto Me, Those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice. And the heavens shall declare His Righteousness; for God is Judge Himself” (Psalms   50:3-6) When God comes to gather His People, a very wrath filled fire will devour anything else that stands before Him. For the great day of His wrath is coming; “who shall be able to stand” (Revelation 6:17)?

‘‘You cast them down to destruction, Oh, how they are brought to desolation as in a moment’’ (Psalm 73: 17). A careful examination of this passage will help us to understand that it doesn’t take an eternity to bring the wicked to desolation. In fact, desolation will take place in just ‘‘a moment’’. Destruction and desolation will be the lot of those cast down. The word ‘‘desolate’’ is defined as:  vacant, uninhabited, and unoccupied. Is “hell” really as full as some say it is?

“The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God”. “Upon the wicked He will rain coals; Fire and brimstone, and a burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.”(Psalm 9:17; 11:6)  What a picture of horror!  Fire and brimstone will be coming out of the sky, falling down on down on top of the heads of evil’s creations. Rain comes from above, not from beneath. When Judgment comes, no umbrella will be able to hold under the Fire Rain of God. At that time, the wicked will wish that they were underground!

‘‘God shall likewise destroy you forever. He Shall Take you away, and Pluck you up out of your dwelling place, and uproot you from the land of the living.’’(Psalm 52:5) Have you ever seen anything that was ‘‘plucked up’’ from the ground live very long? Most gardeners would agree that life ends when something is uprooted. How can anyone ignore the sentencing of the bad plants: destroyed forever?

              David-Prophet & King

As As one searches through the Word of God, it becomes apparent that wickedness does have a final answer. Read this passage from yet another Bible Prophet:

‘‘The destruction of transgressors and sinners shall be together, and those who forsake the Lord will be consumed’’... So the Light of Israel will be for a fire.. It will burn and devour... both body and soul.’’(Isaiah 1: 28; 10:17,18). This prophet very clearly articulated that ‘‘both body and soul” together will be burned and devoured. There is no hint whatsoever of an eternal hell where the wicked can fornicate forever.

Consider the end of the wicked in this light: ‘‘Behold, the Day of The Lord comes cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate; and He will destroy its sinners from it’’.( Isaiah 13: 9)     Again, there is no evidence that the wicked will live on forever. Death, destruction, and desolation will be the results of rebellion against the Creator. The Fire will burn everything into absolute ashes and desolation.

‘‘Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?’ ’(Isaiah 33:14) “For it is the Day of The Lord’s Vengeance.. its streams shall be turned into pitch, and its dust into brimstone, its land shall become burning pitch, it shall not be put out night or day, its smoke shall ascend forever’’ .(Isa 34: 9,10). The world’s greatest Fire Department will not be able to quench this fire sent from God. The only remaining evidence of the destruction is that smoke will be flying up in the atmosphere continually, as a reminder that evil has its consequences.

It is worthy to note that, in speaking of this same passage, Jonathon Edwards in his sermon ‘‘Sinners in the Hand of An Angry God”, recognized that according to Isaiah 33:12-14:

"The people will be burned up completely, like thorns cut down and tossed in a fire. Listen to what I have done, you nations far away! And you that are near acknowledge my might! The sinners in Jerusalem shake with fear. "Which one of us," they cry, "can live here in the presence of this all-consuming fire?" Isaiah 33:12-14. Even this famous “hell fire and brimstone preacher admits that the wicked will be “burned up”! He’s right, how can anyone live through fire that consumes?

This same Prophet foretold of a time when even the coals of fire will turn cold! He declares, ‘‘let now the astrologers, the stargazers, and monthly prognosticators stand up and save you. Behold, they shall be as stubble, the fire shall burn them. They shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame. There shall not be a coal to be warmed by, or a fire to sit before.” (Isaiah. 47: 13-14) Evidently, after the hot fire burns the wicked to stubble, the fire goes out – and there will not be one warm coal left to sit in front of!

Another prophecy uses a stark metaphor concerning the end of a wicked man. It is written, “And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against me, for their worm does not die, and their fire is not put out”(Isaiah 66:24). Imagine a worm feeding on a dead body, kept alive by a never-ending feast, and an unlimited supply of dead corpses. Annihilating fire burning up the mountains of dead bodies while worms do the clean up!

Consider this word that describes the end of a wicked man: “For by fire and by His Sword, the Lord will judge all flesh, and the slain of the Lord will be many” (Isaiah 66:15). As far as history has been recorded, a person who is slain by definition is someone basically lifeless. God’s execution is likened to a killing many times in Scripture. What would be the sense in killing something over and over?

The prophet Isaiah concludes his prophecy that the bad men “shall be consumed together” (Isaiah 66:23-24). Where can someone read about a ‘‘never-ending hell” into any of these passages? How obnoxious would it be to hear dead corpses screaming “I’m being tortured, I’m being tortured” throughout the endless ages? No tormented souls here. Where is the sense in this? Obviously - Eisigesis, not exegesis!

How about this revealing prophecy? “Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, the earth will grow old like a garment, and those who dwell in it will die in like manner”(Isaiah 51:6) Underneath the heavens, is the earth dwellers who will die and disappear  in the same way as the heavens vanished. No roasting and toasting going on forever here.

                  The Prophet Isaiah

The list of prophetic witnesses to the final eradication of sinners continues:

I beheld the earth, and lo, it was without form and void; and the heavens, they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld and there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the Presence of the Lord by His Fierce Anger. The whole land will be desolate, for this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black” (Jeremiah 4:23-28). This is a vivid description of an outer darkness and total desolation that awaits the earth, where no man lives. It can be noted that this place is on the earth, not in the center of it.

In the valley of Hinnom (Gehenna), this will be called “the valley of slaughter”, to burn their sons and daughters in the fire... and the carcasses of this people shall be meat for the fouls of heaven, and for the beast of the earth.’’(Jeremiah 8: 32) Time after time, there can be found metaphors of death -no indicators of endless torture in any of these verses of doom. “Hell” will be a valley of massacre where the wicked are killed and eaten up.

“They shall fall among those who fall; in the time of their punishment, they shall be cast down, I will surely consume them” (Jeremiah 8:12-13). God’s Punishment will be so severe the fallen that are cast down will be consumed. The very nature of the word “consume” is defined as: “to bring to an end by, or as if by the action of a destroying force”... devour, use up, destroy, ruin, annihilate.” (Mirriam Webster Thesaurus) Again, this imagery symbolizes how final and complete will be the destruction of the wicked will be.

This same major prophet foresaw the Almighty’s Wrath and predicted, “At His Wrath the earth will tremble, and the nations will not be able to endure His Indignation, Thus you shall say to them, “The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under the heavens.”(Jeremiah 10: 10) Apparently, “the god of this world”(2 Corinthians 4:4) shall disappear from the earth and from under the heavens. All that are in allegiance with him will, “In the time of their punishment, they shall perish”. (Jeremiah 10:15)

Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goes forth with fury, a continual whirlwind; it will fall violently on the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord will not return until He has done it, and until He has performed the intents of His Heart. In the latter days you will consider it”. (Jeremiah 30:23-24) Consider how the wicked receives God’s Anger, and how He will continue in His Fury until His Mission is accomplished. There are no signs to assume that His Wrath goes on without end in “hell”.

Here’s that whirlwind again in another prophecy: “The Lord will roar from on high, and utter His Voice from on high.. He will give a shout, as those who tread the grapes against all the inhabitants of the earth. A noise will come to the ends of the earth, for the Lord has a controversy with the nations. He will plead His case with all flesh, and give those who are wicked to the sword”. At that day “a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the farthest parts of earth. And at that day, the slain of the Lord will be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried, they shall be refuse on the ground” (Jeremiah 25: 30-33).

According to the prophet, the slain of the Lord will be from one end of earth to the other. When someone is slain, they are lifeless. It is clear by this prophetic picture that, the many that are slain will be just lying around on top of the earth. They do not seem to be hollering and yelling, no pitchforks, any two horned red tailed devil taunting or tormenting anyone in this photograph of the end. When the Lord uses His Sword to kill evil, it will bring a finished work on those cut by it.

      Jeremiah the Prophet

Another witness of the Old Testament used vivid imagery likening the evildoer’s fate to, ‘‘ a morning mist, early dew that passes away, chaff, and like smoke from a chimney’’. (Hosea 13:3) There doesn’t seem to be a hint of fire engulfing the “living dead” unbeliever. On the contrary, all of the metaphors: mists, dew, chaff, are elements that eventually vanish into smoke. Again and again, the Scriptures are in complete harmony concerning evil’s end.

         The Prophet Hosea

The Day Of Judgment will bring the offender face to Face with the Judge. Revelation declares,‘‘ And I saw a Great White Throne, and Him who sat upon it, from whose Face the Earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, both small and great, stand before God’’ (Rev 20 : 11,12). One day equality and justice will be issued by the One who Judges ‘‘ with righteousness.., and decides with equity’’ (Isa 11 :4). Those who were dead, are now raised in the last resurrection.

At that time, ‘‘every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess’’ (Phillipians 2 :10) that  Jesus  was in fact : ‘‘The Way, The Truth, and The Life’’ (John 14 :6). Buddist will be in terror as their chantings and bowing down to images of Buddah, cannot protect them from the sight of The Holy God; as they affix their eyes and see Him as He really Is.

Islamist that denyed the crucifixtion and resurrection of the Christ, will be in shock when they see the King Of Kings, and The Lord Of Lords face to face. Those who had expected to be in the presence of 72 virgins after fighting the infadel, find out that their religious pursuit was psychopathic. They are now only beholding the Face of Him from whom the heavens and the earth fled away. No virgins there, just a Righteous Judge who Commanded  ‘‘Thou shall not murder’’.

With religious pretension stripped from its hiding place, the hypocrites rise up in the wrong resurrection. No longer could the homosexual priest get away from hiding behind the pulpit of God while fondling little boys. Those who had made millions off of the generosity of their congregations to buy airplanes, and build empires, now stand before God to give account of their stewardship. One of the frightening questions they will have to ask theirselves : ‘‘Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to You ?’’(Matthew 25 : 44)

All of those religious folks that claimed to be doctrinally correct, are now judged - not by what they knew to be truth, but by the way they met the needs of those who were less fortunate. Theological differences that seperated the churches from unity, Bible study arguments, and the pride of denominational exclutivity to the keys of the Kingdom, will gnash their teeth for the fright of His Righteous Judgment. Many will come in that Day bragging, ‘‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your Name, cast out demons in Your Name, and done many wonders in Your Name?’’ (Matthew 7 : 22)  Again, the fakes will hear the terrifying  Words Of Condemnation, ‘‘Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness’’ (Matthew 7 : 23).

Those false teachers who crept  unaware into churches, will receive stricter condemnation for leading others away from obedience to God’s Holy Law. In the heart of God’s 10 Commandments, which were kept in His Temple in heaven, shine forth from the Ark of His Testament (Revelation 11 : 19) as everyone stands‘‘ judged by the Law Of Liberty’’ (James 2 :12).  That which was written in stone, had never been written in their hearts. Those no law - all grace teachers realize its too late to change from doers of iniquity, to law abiding citizens of the Kingdom.

Out of God’s Government Of Love, will one ignored Commandment (The 4th) shine in the Light of Judgment. Those who taught and ignored the one Commandment which specifically Identified Him who‘‘made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them’’(Exodus 20 :8-11) will discover too late, that the Seventh Day was still etched in stone as a rememberence of His Authority as Creator. No change in the day, no theological debates to argue against it. The false teacher’s mouths are stopped as Truth is clearly seen regarding His Holy Day (Isa 58 :13). That which man was commanded to remember, had been ignored or forgotton.

Those who in the Name Of God forced people into slavery, killed the heretics, and blew theirselves up with bombs strapped to eliminate the unbeliever, will see God as He really is. They see that God is Love, a Defender of the poor and fatherless, and the Righteouess Law Giver. The counting of religious beads, the reciting of repetitive religious phrases, and the bowing to graven images in the church will be brought into the Light of a Holy God. Too late will it be, to change the insane idea that the Almighty was pleased with such religious nonsense.

Church leaders who mislead their assemblies to believe that God could only be found in their church, will discover that God is Bigger than a building. Denominationalism will vanish away in the Sight of The Almighty’s Divine Justice. Those who taught others that salvation could only be found in their church, will find that many other denominational leaders which taught a false gospel are in the same place : the second resurrection. Oh- what a teeth grinding day that will be.

Ordained Homosexual clergy will gnash their teeth in fright before Him who created Adam and Eve - not Adam and Steve. Those churches who voted in these perverse ministers of evil, recognize that they are there with them,‘‘knowing the Righteous Judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only doing the same, but also approve of those that practice them’’(Romans 1:32). Homosexual ministers will be cast out along with the adoration of those led by the lie.

The more vile and attrocious of humanity who led millions to death, wait at the back of the Judgment Line - Hitler, Stalin, Mao Se Tung, Nero, and other hundreds of thousands like them, as they watch those going before them being cast into the Lake of Fire. The Almighty will have a special reward for the merciless. As much as humanity suffered from their lawless deeds, Vengence now comes out in Fury upon those even more deserving of death’s solution. God will impart a payback especially designed for the most sinister. Whatever God decides should be their punishment, the most vile will receive even a greater condemnation when He Judges them - whatever way that He decides to implement it.

Then will be brought to pass the most frightening words ever uttered, Depart from me - you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.’’ It had been decreed that the devil and his loyal angelic followers would experience the Fire Of Yahweh. ‘‘These will go away into everlasting punishment’’ (Matthew 25 :)-not everlasting punishing. Whatever the punishment, it will last forever and ever.

Atheist will be in shock –mouths stopped by the most terrifying Image of the Invisible God. Yes, seeing God made them believers way to late. Although they could see ‘‘His Invisible Attributes’’, ‘‘by the things which were made’’, ‘‘they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened; professing to be wise, they became fools’’(Romans 1 : 20-22) Because of their foolish philosophies, God gave them up to uncleaness, in the lust of their hearts,…who changed the truth of God for the lie’’ (Romans1 :24).

The schoolteachers that taught God’s Children the lie- that our ancestors came from monkeys, will scream with fear, as they see the  Holy God that they denied, as He looks down on their wretched, trembling bodies. Because of their worship of the creature instead of the Creator, they now realize as they look upon the wicked that surrounds them, realizing that they are guilty for teaching evolution, unleashing in the multitudes standing there :

‘‘ being filled with all unrighteousness, sexually immoral, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murderers, strife, deceit, evil mindedness, whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful’’,… ‘‘Men with men commiting what is shameful’’, all of those who practice such things are deserving of death (Romans 1 : 26-31)  Oh- the weeping and wailing that will screech to the heavens, as they recognize that they have been raised in the wrong resurrection with those who deserve death-nothing more.

   Babylon: That Great City

Satan will disguise himself as a false messiah and his ministers will be fanatically loyal to their master deceiver. He will sit in the “great city” dictating his evil intent towards those holding the testimony of Jesus.  The true messengers from Yahweh will be targets of murderous aim. The Lord’s Word foretold of a day that believers would be looked upon as troublemakers. Jesus foretold, “the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God’s Service” (John 16:2).  With every ounce of sadistic energy, Satan incites an all-out war on God’s Kids. As God pours out His Spirit on His Children, the world is being warned of the spiritual deceptions.

The prophetic spotlight will be shining brightly from the great city. This will be the center where the majority of earth’s inhabitants will identify it as the spiritual capital of the world. In this place, will be “the coming of the lawless one, according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who received not the love of the truth that they may be saved”( 2 Thessalonians 2:9). Unrighteous slander will spew out of the great city.

The amalgamation of the world’s religions will not only pray for world unity, but will endorse a powerful, spiritual leader to lead over them. The Anti Christ spirit will be solidified out of the pronounced “spiritual capital of the world”. The Pope, the Dalai Lama, and other recognized religious leaders will clasp hands, praying together that God will show mercy on the earth. Spiritual whoredom and the mixing of all belief systems into one common cause will bring a strong unity among nations.

The message goes to the ends of the earth:

“Babylon is fallen-that great city is fallen! She has become the habitation of demons and evil spirits, a nest for filthy buzzards, and a den for dreadful beast; for all nations have drunk the wine of her immorality. The rulers of this world have committed adultery with her” (Revelation 18: 1-3).

“How the faithful city has become a harlot! She that was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.   Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water. Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves; everyone loves bribes, and follows after rewards: they judge not the fatherless; neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them” (Isa 1:23-24)

Everything that God has put His Name on, the dragon has made a mad pursuit to make it his own. In history, there was a very special place that God Pronounced as His Own. This location was so important to Him, that He Placed His Name there. The Lord Said, “In Jerusalem will I put My Name” (2 Kings 21:4). “ Since I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, that My Name might be there.; neither did I chose any man to be ruler over my people Israel; but I have chosen Jerusalem that My Name might be there, and have chosen David to be over my people Israel”( 2 Chronicles 6:5-6). Jerusalem was chosen over all places as God’s Own City.

All throughout the Scriptures, the prophets elevated the city of Jerusalem as a very special place in God’s Heart. David the Chosen King declared, “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the City Of Our God, in the Mountain of His Holiness, beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the City of The Great King.”(Psalm 48:1-2) The Almighty Yahweh has a Great City very dear to His Heart.   Speaking of Jerusalem, the prophets foretold, “You shall be called, “The City Of Righteousness, the Faithful City,” (Isaiah 1:26) “Jerusalem, Your Holy City”, (Isaiah 52:1)“This Great City” (Jeremiah 22:8).

“Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God” (Revelation   21:10)

It would only stand to reason that God’s City would be a prime target of Satan to one day rule from. Lucifer had in his heart to exalt his “throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north” (Isaiah 14:13).  The Imposter’s ultimate goal is to sit up his capital in God’s City-Jerusalem. The crowning act of the rabid dragon will be to, “plant his tabernacle of his palace between the seas in the glorious Holy Mountain, yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him” (Daniel 11:45). Daniel the prophet prayed, “Let Your Anger and Your Fury be turned away from Your City Jerusalem, Your Holy Mountain” (Daniel 9:16). One day, Lucifer will place a church there in his honor, substituting God’s Name for his.

The Temple Mount is still in place for all to see. Once, God’s House sat on that mount. It has been the center of seizure and conquest throughout the history of the world. Even though the Jews have sovereignty over the heritage of this great historical site, Islam has dedicated and built their places of worship on top of the mount where God still has His Name. Satan put his house on the mount where the Creator had His.

Many times it was declared of Jerusalem, “How the faithful City has become a harlot! (Isaiah 1:21).     Israel had become so corrupt; the prophet likened them to Sodom and Gomorrah. Those who once lived in faithfulness, “played the harlot because of their fame and poured out their fornications on everyone that passed by” (Ezekiel 16:15). Jerusalem had set up false Gods in its midst. History will repeat itself as spiritual whoredom flows from the great city. “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified”(Revelation  11:8)

“For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until her righteousness go forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns.   And the nations shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory, and thou shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of Jehovah shall name.   Thou shall also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. Thou shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more is termed Desolate: but thou shall be called Hephzibah and thy land Beulah; for Jehovah delights in thee, and thy land shall be married."

"For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.  I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that are Jehovah's remembrances take you no rest, and give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” (Isa 62:1-7) The great city becomes a harlot when the false messiah sits in Jerusalem claiming authority over it. This religious God fraud will be spewing out gobs of great words spoken by the great imitator.

Jerusalem is not only considered a spiritual location, but it is rooted in the birth of three major religions: Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. This is where the two witnesses are, ‘‘and their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city…where also our Lord was crucified” (Revelation 11:8). Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem. “The great city” (Babylon) is first mentioned in the above text. According to the context, the great city is where the Lord was crucified.  It is symbolized as a spiritual whore giving the world seemingly right instruction, as it spirals out of control in devilish whoredom.

Think about it, the Jews are looking for the Messiah to appear in Jerusalem. The scriptures declare it, so it is. Islam is looking for their last day prophet to make pronouncement from the Dome of the Rock. Christians believe that Jesus will put His feet down on the Mount of Olives. Guess what? The False Messiah will show up to rule in Jerusalem, not Mecca, not Rome. The abomination of desolation is in the heart of Jerusalem. This place is where God put His Name.

The history of this great city will be duplicated. The Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar was brought against the land of Jerusalem and captured the city because of the rebellion of God’s people. The inhabitants of the holy city were taken into custody, and led away from their homeland. In like manner, this city will be surrounded and besieged again.

The Almighty declared at that time, “I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle”. (Jeremiah 25: 10)Jerusalem was to be a light to all of the nations. In her was found the voice of the bridegroom. No other place on earth had the significance and majesty that God had placed on it.

The great city which once a light to the nations, now has become the major hang out for “devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird” (Revelation 18:2)

In like manner, under the guise of a harlot, Jerusalem will be brought into judgment. “Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city, for in one hour has your judgment come… and the light of a candle shall not shine no more in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more in you”.(Revelation 18:23).

“And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth” (Revelation 18:24). “True and righteous are His Judgments; for He has Judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of His Servants at her hand”(Revelation 19:2).

Jesus told the religious leaders residing in Jerusalem, “ I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute, that the blood of the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation.”(Luke 11:50) In Jerusalem, “the blood of righteous Abel, unto the blood of Zachariah, which perished in between the altar and the temple” was found there. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, and stone them that are sent to you” (Matthew 23:37).

Even though the writer of Revelation did not clearly state that Jerusalem is Mother of harlots-the great city, all of the Bible writers give identifying characteristics of who it is. All of those who studied the scriptures were aware that Jerusalem was God’s City.  Many parallels can be made with the Kingdom of Babylon’s wrath on Jerusalem, with the coming wrath on this great city. Satan is going there to set up house and make God’s City his own. Because time is short, the Devil will set up Jerusalem as a place to be destroyed.

“And when you see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, then know that the desolation is near”.” And there shall be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations and Jerusalem will be trodden down by the Gentiles” (Luke 21:20, 23, 24). “Babylon is fallen, fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication” (Revelation 14:8). This shocking current event will be the sign that the believers will see to warn them of impending worldwide doom.

“Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and save every man his life; be not cut off in her iniquity: for it is the time of Jehovah's vengeance; he will render unto her recompense.  Babylon hath been a golden cup in Jehovah's hand that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad. Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so is she may be healed.

We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country; for her judgment reaches unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.”(Jere 51:6-9)

“And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain, yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. At that time, Michael the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation”( Daniel 11:45;12:1).

Now the crowning act of Satan’s domain is to sit in Jerusalem as his capital. The prophet Isaiah told of Lucifer’s goal, ‘‘I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north” (Isaiah 14:13). It would only stand to reason, that the Devil would want to claim God’s special place as his own. Everything dear and special to God’s Heart will be attacked and held in contempt. The place where the Omnipotent set His Name will be the location of the final battle between good and evil.

As Satan sets up his stronghold in the world’s renowned spiritual capital, God will initiate the final battle to rid the Devil of his supposed position as Supreme over the earth. The day of Christ  is approaching, but will not come until, ‘‘the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God”(2 Thessalonians 2:3). Talk about the ultimate insult against our loving Creator. This is the final straw that breaks the Devil’s back.

On that day, there will be no more restraint from the Omnipotent Yahweh. Up until then, God “is restraining until he (the man of sin), is taken out of the way..that he may be revealed in his time(2 Thessalonians 2:6-7). “And then that wicked will be revealed, ‘‘whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders” (2 Thessalonians 2:8-9). God’s forbearance has reached its limit. Now, the whole world witnesses the unmasking of evil by the events that follow.

In the message of this sinister imposter there will be “unrighteous deception”. Apparently, a huge spiritual sham deceives the masses to do wrong against God’s Will.  However, there will be a group of God followers that will understand the fake procession. Most others will “believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2: 11-12).

The wise will understand this day very clearly by the detailed events outlined in the prophecies. The prophet Zechariah saw this frightful time, many centuries before it would come to pass. He prophesied, ‘‘thus says the Lord, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding people, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples, all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations are gathered against it”(Zechariah 12:2-3).

Never will there be a time in earth’s history where the focus on Jerusalem will be greater.  History has never recorded a time when all nations have come against the holy city. In 70 A.D. the Romans came against Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple, slaughtering over a million in that besiegement. However, a greater gathering of all nations will be the sign to the wise that time is short.

Jesus clearly explained the details concerning the events leading up to His Second Coming. He warns, ‘‘when you shall see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, then know the desolation is near. For these are the days of vengeance:

“For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled” (Luke 21:23-24).

In the book of Revelation, a prophecy connects judgment in Jerusalem, with a time allotted for the Gentiles to put the great city underfoot. Judgment will begin in the temple and extend into the holy city. ‘‘Rise and measure the temple of God, and the alter, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not, for it is given to the Gentiles; and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty two months”(Revelation 11: 1-2).

Whatever activity the devil is initiating in this special place he has designed, will be under the Judgment of God. During this time, the Gentiles will be given a certain amount of time to stomp on Jerusalem. This time will be 3 ½ years. “ It shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished”( Daniel 12:7)

At the same time that the everlasting gospel is traveling to the ends of the earth, something is developing in the holy place. Jesus detailed the exact event this way, ‘‘when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, stand in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand)” (Matthew 24:14-15). Lucifer imitating God will stand in this holy place, ushering in the time of trouble such as never was-tribulation never greater in the history of the world. There is a tribulation coming larger than the destruction of the temple in A.D. 70, more intense than the Holocaust, or two world wars that killed millions of people. One is coming that will surpass any calamity or war ever recorded in the annals of history.

“For then will be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, nor ever shall be. And except those days shall be shortened, there should be no flesh saved” (Matthew 24:21-22).    Spiritual whoredom will be deceiving the whole world. Satan will have his day of glory with the deceived on earth. He has taken Jerusalem, set up his holy place, and commanded his orders to go out to the ends of the earth. “And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His Name, and His Tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them; and power was given him over all kindred, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell on the earth shall worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:6-8).

A Prophecy Of Planet Earth's Future Of Evildoers :

“Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye peoples: let the earth hear, and the fullness thereof; the world, and all things that come forth from it.  For Jehovah has indignation against all the nations, and wrath against their entire host: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

" Their slain also shall be cast out, and the stench of their dead bodies shall come up; and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.   And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and their entire host shall fade away, as the leaf fade from off the vine, and as a fading leaf from the fig-tree. For Jehovah hath a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion."

“And the streams of Edom shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.  It shall not be quenched night or day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever; from generation to generation it shall lay waste”(Isa 34:1-4;8-10)

“Upon the wicked he will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup” (Psalms 11:6)

“As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God” (Psalms 68:2)

“According as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow trouble, reap the same. By the breath of God they perish, and by the blast of his anger are they consumed” (Job 4:8-9)

"Let sinners be consumed out of the earth. And let the wicked be no more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Praise ye Jehovah” (Psalms    104:35)

“But the destruction of transgressors and sinners shall be together, and they that forsake Jehovah shall be consumed” (Isa 1:28)

"For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and his chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire For, behold, Jehovah will come with fire, and his chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render his anger with fierceness, and his rebuke with flames of fire They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go unto the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, they shall come to an end together, says Jehovah”(Isaiah 66:15-17)

“For, behold, the day cometh, it burn as a furnace; and all the proud, and all that work wickedness, shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, says Jehovah of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch, And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make, says Jehovah of hosts (Malachi 4:1,2).

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness,  looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, by reason of which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein righteousness dwells”(2 Peter 3:10-13)

“For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.  For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: Yea, thou shall diligently consider his place, and he shall not be. The wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs: They shall consume; in smoke shall they consume away. Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, and he will exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, thou shall see it.  I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.   But one passed by, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found” (Psalm 37: 10, 20, 34-36).

“For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness; thou hast said, None sees me; thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee, and thou hast said in thy heart, I am, and there is none else besides me. Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shall not know the dawning thereof: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shall not be able to put it away: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou know not.

"Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast labored from thy youth; if so be thou shall be able to profit, if so be thou may prevail. Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels: let now the astrologers, the star-gazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from the things that shall come upon thee. Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: it shall not be a coal to warm at, or a fire to sit before” (Isa 47:10-14).

"The noise of a multitude in the mountains, as of a great people! The noise of a tumult of the kingdoms of the nations gathered together! Jehovah of hosts is mustering the host for the battle. They come from a far country, from the uttermost part of heaven, even Jehovah, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.  Wail you; for the day of Jehovah is at hand; as destruction from the Almighty shall it come."

“ Therefore shall all hands be feeble, and every heart of man shall melt: and they shall be dismayed; pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman in travail: they shall look in amazement one at another; their faces shall be faces of flame.”

“Behold, the day of Jehovah cometh, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger; to make the land desolation, and to destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in its going forth, and the moon shall not cause its light to shine."

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity: and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.  I will make a man rarer than fine gold, even a man than the pure gold of Ophir. Therefore I will make the heavens to tremble, and the earth shall be shaken out of its place, in the wrath of Jehovah of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger” (Isa 13:4-13)

“Behold, Jehovah makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scattered abroad the inhabitants thereof.  And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the creditor, so with the debtor."

“The earth shall be utterly emptied, and utterly laid waste; for Jehovah hath spoken this word.  The earth mourned and faded away, the world languished and faded away, the lofty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is polluted under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are found guilty: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

“Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.   And it shall come to pass, that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows on high are opened, and the foundations of the earth tremble. The earth is utterly broken, the earth is rent asunder, the earth is shaken violently. The earth shall stagger like a drunken man, and shall sway to and fro like a hammock; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it, and it shall fall, and not rise again.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah will punish the host of the high ones on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.  And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison; and after many days shall they be visited” (Isa 24:1-6, 17-22).

Thy dead shall live; my dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust; for thy dew is as the dew of herbs and the earth shall cast forth the dead.   Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.   For, behold Jehovah cometh forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations."

For the Atheist - Put These Odds in Vegas:

From Peter Stoner's "Science Speaks":

#1 "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting" (Micah 5:2).

This prophecy predicts that the Christ is to be born in Bethlehem. Since this is the first prophecy to be considered there are no previously set restrictions, so our question is: One man in how many, the world over, has been born in Bethlehem?

#2 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me" (Mal. 3:1).

Our question here is: Of the men who have been born in Bethlehem, one man in how many has had a forerunner to prepare his way?

#3 "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation: lowly, and riding upon ... a colt the foal of an ass" (Zech. 9:9).

Our question then is: One man in how many, who was born in Bethlehem and had a forerunner, did enter Jerusalem as a king riding on a colt the foal of an ass?

#4 "And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends"(Zech. 13:6).

One man in how many, the world over, has been betrayed by a friend, and that betrayal has resulted in his being wounded in his hands?

#5 "And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver" (Zech. 11:12).

The question here is very simple: Of the people who have been betrayed, one in how many has been betrayed for exactly thirty pieces of silver?

#6 "And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prized at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord" (Zech. 11:13).

One man in how many, after receiving a bribe for the betrayal of a friend, had returned the money, had it refused, had thrown it on the floor in the house of the Lord, and then had it used to purchase a field from the potter?

# 7 "He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth" (Isa. 53:7).

One man in how many, after fulfilling the above prophecies, when he is oppressed and afflicted and is on trial for his life, though innocent, will make no defense for himself?

#8 "For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet"(Ps. 22:16).

One man in how many, from the time of David on, has been crucified?

If these estimates are considered fair, one man in how many men, the world over, will fulfill all eight prophecies? This question can be answered by applying our principles of probability. In other words, by multiplying all of our estimates together, or 1 in 2.8 x 105 x 103 x 102 x 103 x 105 x 103 x 104. This gives 1 in 2.8 x 1028, where 28 means that we have 28 ciphers following the 2.8. Let us simplify and reduce the number by calling it 1 in 1028. Written out this number is 1 in 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Homosexuality From The Prophetic Lenses:

God Created Adam and Eve - not Adam and Steve!

It is high time to speak out against gay and lesbian clergy in our ranks within the Churches.

The Scriptures are clear on the issue of homosexual perversion:

"Professing to be wise, they became fools, therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,

who exchanged the truth of God for the lie;  For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due"(Romans 1: 22,24,27)

Homosexuality is a result of turning away from the Creator.  God gives them up to their own passion, and they receive the penalty for such perverted behavior.

Having said this, the Scriptures are also clear as to those who endorse such behavior:

"undiscerning, who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but also APPROVE of those who practice them." (Romans 1:31-32)

According to this eye opening statement, you are just as guilty approving of homosexuality as you are committing the act yourself.

In another statement, the apostle Paul is quite clear on this:

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor HOMOSEXUALS, nor sodomites, or thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionist will inherit the kingdom of God."(1 Corinthians 6: 9-10)

But again the hope for the one engaged in such practice:

"And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."(1 Corinthians 6:11)

But clearly, those who practice such sin will be sentenced:

"He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, SEXUALLY IMMORAL, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.'' (Rev 21: 7-8)

Can we  agree that it is at least "sexual immorality"?

"Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting". (Romans 1: 27-28)

One may choose not to use the word "homosexual"…but it is clearly a sin that will be rewarded by a "second death".

Yahweh's Word Proclaims that it is an "abomination":

`You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination. "Nor shall you mate with any beast, to defile yourself with it. Nor shall any woman stand before a beast to mate with it. It is perversion."(Leviticus 18:22-23)

Yahweh Created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. The very institution of marriage was for: man and woman - not woman with woman, or man with man. Call it what it is.

It should never be allowed in the Leadership of His Holy Body of believers. There is another option if you do not want to leave your denomination that endorses such practices. Stand up and speak out against it.

"Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."(James 5:19-20)

"Know this first: Scoffers will come in the last days , walking according to their own lust saying, "Where's the promise of His Coming ?

I find it interesting that the major theme of the New Testament is that the Messiah has come - and He will be back again. Maybe we have heard this one to many times? It no longer seems to be the exciting  prevailing message today that it used to be!

Peter believed that Jesus would be back in his day:

"But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers." (1 Peter 4:7)

Paul wrote much about this:   "But this I say, brethren, the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none,"(1 Cor 7:29)

Jesus  spoke of an attitude that the "evil servant" would have while articulating the signs of His Return:

"But if that evil servant says in his heart, `My master is delaying his coming, and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of,  "and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."(Matthew 24:48-51)

There is a sense of urgency that oozes from the New Testament concerning Christ' Return.

John, as Jesus appeared to him on Patmos declared:   "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants things which must shortly take place...Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near."(Rev 1:1,3)

Whatever you may label these great men of God (Preterist, Millennial, Dispensationist, Arian, Superlapsarian,... they all believed and hoped for Christ Return in their day.

When Paul wrote:    "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words."(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)   When Paul said, "We which alive and remain"...he thought he was part of the "We"!

In my estimation, without Jesus' Return, we are men most miserable!   So how should we then conduct ourselves?    "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not expect Him. "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? "Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing."(Matthew 24:44-46)

Cmon... we know that everyone waits until the last minute to do their homework.   Jesus prophesied that the wise servants, and the foolish, would be flat busted asleep before His Arrival. What woke up the sleeping saints and pretenders? The Cry: "Look - The Bridegroom is coming"(Matthew 25:1-10)

Nothing will ever be a surprise to those who are "watching". Call me a sensationalist if you will, but I believe Jesus is coming soon! I'm no different than the disciples who went before me hoping in the same Promise: "I WILL COME AGAIN" (John 14:1-3)  I think this ought to be the central message today! Even so...Come Lord Jesus!

DANIEL 8:              America In Bible Prophecy

I find it interesting that over the years, unless it is a story of Shadrack, the lions den, Nebuchadnezzar's image, or those matters tied into the historical stories, we don’t hear about any of the rest of the book.  Daniel has another dimension virtually untouched by a great majority of preachers today. When was the last time that you heard a message on the prophetic themes of this prophet? Daniel’s prophecies have some very important prophecies that concern Israel, and also other nations that through conflict, will usher in the end. We Will begin by taking a look at an "END TIME VISION":

Matthew 24: 14-15:

"This gospel will be preached as a witness unto all the nations, then the end will come. When you therefore see the abomination of Desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the Holy Place,(whoever reads - let him understand)... for then will be great tribulation such as never was since there was a nation".

The Revelation confirms this very event:

"I saw an angel flying in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to proclaim to every nation, people, kindred and tongue, saying with a loud voice,"Fear God and give glory to Him, for the HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT HAS COME. Worship Him who created the heaven, earth, sea, and the fountains of water"(Revelation 14:6)

The gospel is tied into an End Time scenario which brings at the same time a Judgment Hour message, bringing on the "abomination of desolation." These events usher in the great tribulation such as never was, and if time had not been shortened, no one would be saved (Matthew 24:21-22)

These clear cut statements should compel us to go back to the book of Daniel and take a hard look at what he prophecies concerning the abomination of desolation.
There are many specifics tied into this event that have not been met in a historical setting. Jesus tied this into a "great tribulation such as never was". Searching the annals of history, we find many troubles much greater than the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 :

Jerusalem Destroyed (AD 70)  1,100,000 killed

World War 1 : 15 Million died

Jews Exterminated - Holocaust   6,000,000 (WW2 - 40 Million)

Bubonic Plague - Europe   25 million died in 5 years - 100 million in 14th Century

Spanish Flu - 50 Million - 4 years

Obviously, there have been greater troubles on planet earth since the A.D. 70 destruction where over a million Jews perished. Jesus said there would be one coming unlike anything the world has ever witnessed. So - we look beyond the generation in the first and second century, to a time in the future at the end.

Good News Is Always Better After You Hear The Bad!

Bad News:

Sin separates you from God

"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear."(Isa 59:2)

Sin has a payday:  "For the wages of sin is death"(Romans 6:23a)

You are going to die and be Judged: "And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,"(Hebrews 9:27)

 Good News:

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

"And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."(1 John 5:11-13)

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His Name:"(John 1:12)

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life"(John 5:24)

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  not of works, lest anyone should boast."(Eph 2:8-9)

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."(Romans 10:9)

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.''(Acts 4:12)

For me, these are essentials!
